How and when psychology consultations can help

Don't wait till times of extreme stress or adversity. Same way you build and maintain physical fitness with exercise or go to the dentist to maintain healthy teeth and prevent decay, condition your brain to be less emotionally reactive and build resilience. Doing this before times of stress means that, when faced with difficulty, the brain and body can manage this experience of stress/anxiety most adaptively.  You are also more quickly able to see the growth potential from challenging experience

Areas of Focus

Resilience building

Anxiety/ stress management

Fertility challenges (incl. IVF/PGD/donation)

Pre/postnatal adjustment

Grief and loss

Health/fitness goals

Pain management

Pre/post cosmetic procedure adjustment

Sleep optimisation

Interpersonal relationships and sexuality

Medicare rebates are accessible with a referral from your GP.  I  am recognised as a provider of psychology services under the Better Outcomes Mental Health Scheme and the Perinatal Scheme as well as online via Telehealth under the Better Access Scheme for regional clients.

Veterans can also access a rebates for consultations through DVA.

Online/Telehealth

Let's make this as easy as possible.  I can offer consultations online or over the phone too.  So no matter what your location/ schedule is like, we have options.
